Refund Policy
Our counselling is free, so there is usually nothing to refund. This page explains the exceptions, and who to approach for institution fees.

Counselling Is Free
Guidance Hub does not charge students or parents for counselling, college shortlisting or application guidance. Because no payment is taken for those services, no refund arises.
If any service ever carries a charge, we will state the amount, what it covers and its refund terms in writing before you pay.
If You Ever Pay Us for a Service
- The scope, amount and refund terms will be confirmed in writing before payment
- A request made before the service begins is refunded in full
- Once the service has partly been delivered, we refund the portion not yet delivered
- Amounts already paid on your behalf to a third party — an examination body or institution — follow that body's own rules, not ours
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, usually within 7 to 14 working days of approval
Fees Paid to an Institution
Admission, tuition, hostel, examination and counselling-authority fees are paid directly to the institution or authority concerned. Refunds of those amounts are governed entirely by that institution's or authority's own refund rules, including any regulator-mandated schedule for withdrawal before or after a cut-off date.
We do not hold, process or refund institution fees. Always pay through the institution's official channels, keep every receipt, and read its refund and withdrawal policy before you pay. We will help you read it and raise a request with the institution, but the decision is theirs.
Raising a Request
To raise a refund request or a question about a payment, contact us with your name, mobile number, the date of payment and a copy of the receipt. We acknowledge requests within three working days and tell you what happens next.
Use any of the contact details on our Contact page, and tell us which policy your message is about.
